The luxury chocolate brand Godiva launched a range of delicious Belgian chocolate products for supermarkets. It was our job to create awareness and excitement around this new chocolate brand during the launch and the following period on it around innovations and activations.
Approach
We organized a controversial launch event at the Godiva Mansion in Amsterdam, where visitors were completely immersed in a Godiva world. We spoiled (social) influencers about this with limited editions around the Christmas and Spring Holidays.
We also provided PR support for A Symphony of Taste, through which we demonstrated that music can enhance the taste experience of Godiva chocolate. This was based on research to brainwaves when eating chocolate.
Result
Godiva typically is a brand with which we can generate a lot of beautiful (earned) media attention. This is achieved due to a careful selection of the PR target group in combination with our approach to offering newsworthy, visually attractive and original content. Besides that, it’s just really delicious chocolate!
