A more Dutch and more beloved brand than Verkade is hard to imagine. Since the very beginning of 2twintig in 2006, we have advised Koninklijke Verkade on marketing PR, corporate PR and issue communications.
At the beginning of 2019, Verkade launched two new variants of their famous DUBBELDIK and FLINTERDUN chocolate bars: the new favorites of De Meisjes van Verkade (the iconic Verkade girls in yellow dresses). To allow the greatest food influencers to taste these new flavors, we organized a blogger tour through the country.
Together with a Meisje van Verkade and armed with a tray full of goodies, we traversed the Netherlands from Lelystad to Amsterdam and from The Hague to Utrecht. The personal visit by the popular Meisje van Verkade was very much appreciated and generated an unprecedented amount of exposure of all the titles that we visited.
